- The Tidal Waves of New Hampshire
“The Tidal Waves” of New Hampshire formed in 1963 and played throughout the northeast for several years before disbanding by the end of the 60’s. Recordings were released of ‘Farmer John’ and ‘Laugh’ on the Right Label in the 1960’s and as part of a Collectables compilation in 1998 on Cicadelic titled ‘Green Crystal Ties #7’. Band members were Steve Penney, Don Smith, Norm Smith, Walter Marsten and Bill Siliker Jr.

2. Tidal Waves of Detroit
“Tidal Waves” of Detroit Michigan, aka “The Tidal Waves”, formed in the 1960’s. Recordings of “Action Speak Louder Than Words” and “Farmer John” were released on the SVR and HBR labels in 1966 and are on You Tube. Band members were Bob Slap, Bill Long, Mark Karpinski, Tom Wearing and Jon Wearing.

“Tidal Wave The Band” of South Jersey was formed in the 1980’s in Brigantine, NJ. They are still active today in Ocean City and have a website and facebook page.
